In an interesting article from January 2011 this year, Carl Zimmer, writes about mind uploading and the future of neurotechnology. The article was published in Scientific American. For those who don’t know, another name for “mind uploading” is brain emulation, or reverse engineering the brain. There are many and long articles written about mind uploading, but they all tend to miss one fact, that is, the answer to the following question: How is brain uploading done?
